That time of year has come around again, your precious ones birthday party. Your childs birthday party is undoubtedly the time they look forward to with a great deal of anticipation and excitement, a birthday party is the best thing that can happen to a child.

For you the parent though is the birthday party a cause of stress and frustion, is a birthday party another moutain for you to climb? Maybe a birthday party is a breeze for you and you love planning all the details of the birthday party. Then again maybe not, for some moms or even dads putting together a birthday party is quite a task. Lets face it, if you have a full time job and most children in todays soceity are that in themselves with extra mural activites and all the rest. Planning a birthday party can be a task that you just dont have time for.

Planning a birthday party with an unlimited budget is easy, just get in a birthday party planner and let them take care of the whole lot! This kind of birthday party is not however, the birthday party that kids fantasize about. It may look great to all your friends and although all the boxes are ticked, your child is not garaunteed to have a geat birthday party. You see kids are not that fussed with the catering and decor at the birthday party. I mean sweets are sweets and they should be there but whether you spend R500 at Pick 'n Pay or R5000 with Glorious Gloria's Party Extravaganzas or whatever jelly tots, smarties, crisps and the good old chomp chocolate are birthday party favourites for a reason!

It's What happens at the Birthday Party that matters the most!

Now for a birthday party you can hire any number of wonderful things from magicians to jumping castles that will blow your mind! Entertainment at the birthday party is very popular and people spend vast amounts of money on birthday party entertainment. The key thing to think about when evealuating birthday party entertainments is to ask the question. Where the kids at the birthday party entertained? You see i have been to parties where parents have spent upwards of R5000 onentertainment for the birthday party and for more than 75% of the time the kids at the birthday party were either bored and started fighting with eachother or were hassling their parents. Now where is the sense in that?

It is something a little difficult to put your finger on, you know how sometimes there is that one dad, friend, older brother or cousin that gets stuck in and the kids just adore him! It doesn't happen intentionally but the birthday party is a hit and the kids don't stop talking about that one thig they did with whoever it was that paid them some attention. I was that person at birthday parties that i went to, so i decided to offer myself as a service for birthday parties. This was about 10 years ago and things have progressed a liitle since then in the birthday party arena but the core philosophy remains the same and will always be the backbone of Andy's Action Parties.
